I WAS YOU a few years ago. 

After pursuing an MBA from IIM Lucknow, I joined the high stress environment of the corporate world which took a serious toll on my health.

I started experiencing irregular and painful periods, persistent acne, debilitating brain fog, anxiety and even depression.

I was stuck in a cycle of mood swings, my weight started increasing and my gut health started deteriorating. 

It was like my body was at war with itself, and I had no idea how to make it stop.

I tried everything I could

ate healthy, cut calories, spent hours at the gym, took pills to manage my symptoms- but nothing seemed to work. 

It was frustrating, and honestly, it made me feel powerless.

That’s when I started digging deeper, trying to understand what was really going on inside my body.

And what I found changed everything.

I discovered the phenomenal world of Functional Nutrition, a holistic approach to not just suppress the symptoms of a disease but to find out the ROOT CAUSE of these symptoms and reverse these issues for good.

I decided to pursue a course in Functional Nutrition and learn everything about healing my body.

So that’s what I did! And what I learnt changed my life forever..

I found out that my body was dealing with nutrient deficiencies, gut dysbiosis, heavy metal toxicity, blood sugar imbalance all leading to a STRESS RESPONSE. This stress response was causing all my unwanted health symptoms.

Stress is the biggest killer and is responsible for ALL kinds of modern diseases and imbalances that we are currently witnessing.

An unhealthy gut microbiome, dysregulated blood sugar levels, heavy metal toxicity, nutrient deficiencies, poor sleep schedule, toxic relationships or work culture, childhood trauma can all trigger a stress response in the body.

We live in stressful times. The food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, the cleaning and personal care products we use, are all laden with toxic chemicals and hormone disrupters.

Add to that the stress of juggling so many roles as the modern-day woman. 

No wonder we are experiencing so many hormonal issues like PCOS, infertility, painful periods, weight gain, mental health issues, autoimmunity etc.

Coming back to my story. 

In order to get to the root cause of my symptoms, I ran not just blood tests but also an HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) test which helped me understand how stress was affecting my body and what the nutrient status was inside my cells. 

Blood work looks at nutrient status outside of the cell, which is tightly regulated by our bodies as blood is homeostatic. Hence merely running blood tests is not enough.

Advanced functional tests like HTMA can help us understand the stress response much better.This was a turning point in my healing journey.

I realised that correctly identifying the root cause of my stress by utilising advanced tests like HTMA and taking measures to fix these stressors namely mineral imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, gut dysbiosis, imbalanced blood sugar and toxicities (both physical and emotional) was the way to vitality!

Priyanka came to me with complaints of Inflammation, Anxiety, Depression, yeast infections, headaches, skin rashes and joint aches.
